Power napping at its best - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I don't know about you, but over the
years I have experienced a strong desire for a midday nap. When I was younger
it was because I was burning the candle at both ends, staying up late and
getting up early too many days in a row. As I got older the reasons changed
- insomnia, pms, stress. I've been in some companies that keep a couch
in the ladies lounge, and I remember years ago when Lotus Development Corp
had a room in one of its buildings with a lounge chair that could be used
by anyone, for any reason. When you work from home, a midday nap is no
problem. You can just walk to the bedroom and lie down without worrying
that the boss will walk in on you.
I've heard stories of employees closing
their doors and lying down on a couch or the floor. Of course if your office
door doesn't lock ...
Now if you work in midtown Manhattan
you have another option - take a MetroNap.
If you're an employer looking for a
unique way to reward your employees give them the gift of a MetroNap and
lunch.
This is such a great idea it can't help
but succeed and sooner or later you may be able to take a MetroNap in your
town.
