Do you have a relatively new IBM Thinkpad? Then you too may have a keyboard light and not know it.
In the Technology section of Today's
New York Times there is an article that talks about the paucity of documented
or well-documented software and hardware products. To illustrate the point
it uses the keyboard light on a Thinkpad as its first example. Did you
know you had one? I didn't, or at least didn't remember it.
The light is built into the case of
my A31 just above the screen over towards the left side. To turn it on
you hold down the Fn key and then press the PgUp key. To turn the light
off, you repeat the key sequence. So, did you know about this feature?
What other undocumented features have you discovered accidentally using
your computer, popular software products, electronic products around your
house?
