An unexpected and sometimes better way to find help with that Lotus Notes brain teaser.
Today I was setting up a Google Ad for Calendar2Calendar.
I had selected and tested various keywords end entered them into my ad's
profile. Google will make additional suggestions based on the words you've
selected. So I asked Google to suggest and was quite surprised by the results.
The list contained terms like runonserver, nupdall, lotusscript,
dbcache and doclink, along with more typical terms like quickplace,
notesr5, notes5 and domino5. As I looked at the list it
occured to me that it was compiled from the search terms most frequently
entered into google by those searching for help with Lotus products. I
had assumed that like me most Lotus Notes/Domino developers when searching
for technical information on the web went directly to LDD (notes.net),
or the Lotus usenet groups, or some other Lotus targeted information site.
Now when I'm looking to solve an HTML, Javascript or other web related
language problem I always search the web looking for tips and tricks, but
somehow for Lotus Notes I always went to the same resources over and over
again.
For the heck of it, I entered runonserver into the google
search bar. I got 10 pages of results. Here is a snapshot of those results:

Of course I got several hits for LDD, but I also got hits for sites that I read articles on periodically but don't necessarily search to solve technical problems. I also got hits for sites I had never heard of, and in languages other than english.
So if you have a LotusScript, formula language or domino administration problem to solve, you may just save time by searching in google and getting links to other resources along with those for postings in LDD.
